Hypercoagulation is a little thing that may be driving your delayed healing but a lot of folks simply aren’t aware.
Got Mold, CIRS, POTS, Heavy Metals, Lyme, Chronic Infections, Covid Vaccine or ‘never been the same since Covid’, EMR/EMF exposure, Hemochromatosis, recurring UTI’s or IC infections…. you’re likely dealing with some level of hypercoagulation behind the scenes.
Chronic inflammation triggers the coagulation cascade and creates very sticky blood. Sticky blood moves less of the critical good stuff around our body which translates to low vitality and a cascade of symptoms. Sticky blood keeps you stuck in low health and delays your healing from chronic illness big time.
Fibrin is the body’s natural band aid: strands of fibrin form across a defect (wound, tear) in the walls of blood vessels, forming a mesh that holds platelets and blood cells. This beneficial clotting of cellular matter and fibrin strands plugs the leak, so to speak, holding things together until the body starts to repair itself.
Hypercoagulation is where fibrin is deposited along the endothelial cell wall aka the inner wall of blood vessels and capillaries. When fibrin is allowed to accumulate unchecked you’ve got yourself a big old clot that restricts or cuts off blood flow leading to Phlebitis, DVT, PE, Strokes and recurrent early Miscarriage.
That’s the extreme version. The less extreme version but no less crippling is the chronic state of Hypoxia or oxygen hunger of our muscles/ tissues that eats away at our vitality. Imagine a traffic jam on your blood super highway stopping a payload of oxygen and nutrients from getting through.
In health, the body maintains this wonderful balance between making fibrin and breaking down fibrin. In illness the body struggles to find this homeostasis and it can keep us trapped.

Pregnancy is a hypercoagulative state naturally where the risk of thrombosis increases x5. This physiologic adaptation helps prevent hemorrhage at the time of implantation, maintenance of the utero-placental interface, and hemostasis in the third stage of labor. However, when someone has a preexisting tendancy for sticky blood, the scale gets tipped too far and clotting of the placenta occurs between that 6-12 weeks starving the foetus ending in miscarriage, growth restriction, preeclampsia or it becomes a high risk pregnancy for thrombosis. Asprin or Heparin is often given as a prophylactic to women who experience recurring miscarriage. The really interesting thing about this though is that these women who received prophylactic treatment often saw resolution or significant diminished symptoms of long standing illness.
Dr David Berg was the Director and Co founder of HEMEX Laboratories in the USA (bought out by LabCorp). Dr Berg has a M.S. degree in clinical pathology and laboratory medicine, and has been in practice for 35 years before retiring – “We first became involved with research in chronic illnesses while we were performing research regarding hypercoagulability related infertility in women with one of the local infertility specialists here in Phoenix, AZ. We found that a hypercoagulable state, presumably due to a coagulation protein defect, existed in many women who were infertile and/or who had recurrent spontaneous abortions. Our colleague Dr. Couvaras observed that when he put women on low dose heparin in order to maintain pregnancy, some with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/ Fibromyalgia like symptoms, pelvic pain, and migraine-like headaches had amelioration of their symptoms. He asked us “Why?” As a result, we performed a retrospective study on 30 of these obstetric patients with chronic illness symptoms, and determined that all had coagulation system activation. As the hypercoagulability was decreased by heparin injections, the chronic illness symptoms diminished. This was the first clue to the connection between coagulation and chronic illnesses.”
Sticky blood stops someone from getting well via oxygen and nutrient starvation. Same goes for bubs in utero also.
Chronic Fatigue, Fibromyalgia, Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome, Gulf War Syndrome and many more chronic states of disease have all been identified as having an underlying issue of hypercoagulation which explains the multi-organ, multi system symptomology experienced by these individuals. Hypercoagulation may be the difference between those that get bitten by an infected tick and recover completely and those that remain chronically ill and never recover.
Research conducted by Dr Ann Corson shows that even very small amounts of fibrin built up along the lining of the endotheial cell wall of blood vessels are capable of reducing oxygen diffusion into tissues by 500%.
Fibrin in excess impedes the flow of growth factor, hormones, minerals and impacts the ability to remove metabolic cellular waste which in turn overwhelms the lymphatic system because it has to work double time. Estrogen issues for women can result from this slow flowing river – the body cannot clear excess estrogen efficiently and so estrogen dominance is the result OR the body cannot get the estrogen to the tissues that need it.
Fibrin is ultimately a clever mechanism to trap toxins and pathogens; microbes are “protected” by residing in a fibrin mesh. Fibrin formation may be the body’s attempt to wall off microbes. When you start breaking down this fibrin sludge which acts in a similar way to biofilm with enzymes such as Nattokinase or Lumbrokinase, you reveal and release these into the system.
These pathogens are anaerobes, i.e., they live and reproduce in an oxygen deprived environment. That’s why fibrin deposition becomes important to the survival of the pathogens because it produces a low oxygen state in cells and tissues where pathogens can thrive and also remain undetected.
“A common side effect those dealing with chronic infections often run into with using antibiotics long term is a deficiency in Vitamin K. Whether we’re talking about urinary tract infections, tick-borne infections, or kids with PANDAS. The end result can be that because the antibiotics depleted the lactobacilli, these individuals are not producing as much vitamin K and therefore more fibrin is produced. The end result, instead of getting rid of the infections, you’ve actually walled them off to an even greater extent in these fibrin biofilms making them much more stealthy, evading detection.” – Dr Ruth Kriz
Symptoms of Sticky Blood encompass having mottled coloured skin, cold extremities, sensitive teeth, slow capillary refill when pressed, varicose veins, edema, nausea upon waking, poor morning appetite, poor aerobic exercise tolerance, heavy bleeding with clots, brain fog, pale swollen tongue with scalloped edges, limbs fall asleep easy, generalised pain.
About 1 in 5 people have some genetic SNP that tends to make them a little bit stickier than average under physiological stress. Factor V Leiden is one that around 14-20% of the population carry one copy of. Roughly 70% of all chronic UTI and IC folks possess a genetic mutation and they wouldn’t even know it, but if that’s you, there is your cue.
For everyone else hypercoagulation is caused by chronic inflammation – bacterial/viral infections, mold exposure, glyphosate toxicity, EMR/F exposure, heavy metals, chronically high cortisol, iron toxicity, poor omega 3:6 ratio, poorly managed MTHFRC677T gene mutation, SAD Diet and vaccinations/medications including the Contraceptive Pill of which a listed side effect is blood clots, DVT and Stroke.

My other half experienced a hefty dose of toxic black mold spanning years that caused his blood vessel walls to become inflamed and narrow with a thick layer of fibrin. His blood became thicker and stickier and the end result was a so called ‘spontaneous DVT’ in his leg which turned into multiple Pulmonary Embolisms as well as Phlebitis and superficial clots in his arm. Gnarly stuff. Anticoagulant medication was the only route at that point in time. Little did we know at this stage that Mold was the culprit……
Mold exposure can often lead to the subsequent development of Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome (CIRS) which is a multi system/ organ system dysfunction displaying as a variety of symptoms. One of the core underlying aspects of CIRS is platelet aggregation resulting in reduced velocity of red blood cells flowing through the circulatory system leading to blood pressure regulation issues, reduced oxygen and nutrients reaching organs and tissues.
For those with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome POTS – when you have excess fibrin build up, you loose the flexibility and speed with which your blood vessels can dilate or constrict. This makes it hard to adapt from lying down/sitting to stand as well as external temperature changes. The blood vessels cannot move blood quick enough, nor can they dilate to release heat and break a sweat.
Fibromyalgia apparently the strike rate is 100% of all individuals are in a hypercoagulative state. Firbin clogs up the vascular system which denies the muscle tissues the oxygen and nutrients needed to function and create energy.
Radiofrequency Electromagnetic Radiation such as that emitted from cell phone towers, mobile phones, modems etc demonstrates very strong platelet aggregation (red blood cell clumping) and hyper-aggregation. As the length of time for exposure increases – so does ones hyper platelet aggregation state and risk of thrombosis events.
“The results of our study confirm the deleterious effect RF-EMF both on the blood cells and on blood rheology. In
individuals working under the direct and constant exposure to RF-EMFs, the various changes of PA with a predominance of hyperaggregation are detected. The dependence of the changes in the indicators of PA on length of work in conditions of RF- EMF exposure is determined.” – INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF BIOMEDICINE
Covid (both the ‘virus’/injection) created a situation of hyper clotters – widespread clotting of capillaries and smaller blood vessels that caused suffocation of previously healthy tissues. This is well documented in many, many published papers now. Folks shouldn’t have been on Ventilator’s, they should have been on blood thinners.
We know that in those who got the mRNA jabs – research shows those pesky spike proteins are still being expressed and circulated around the body for 709 days post vaccination and beyond. Finding therapeutics which may eliminate or diminish the level of circulating Spike are top of mind for the best practitioners. The dilemma of a body potentially expressing Spike ad infinitum is the crazy new normal we are dealing with.
Fibrin binds to the spike protein – again the body attempting to wall off the invader potentially – both enormous and micro blood clots develop that drive systemic inflammation and neuropathy because tissues are starved of blood flow and oxygen/nutrients. They kill too obviously. Hypercoagulation is a hallmark driver of long covid.
Additionally the spike protein alters the structure of clots making them extremely dense and more resistant to natural breakdown. Researchers note that most significant hematologic changes are triggered by the Covid vaccine and that spike proteins from the virus actually bind and inhibit heparin – our own innate anti clot drug.
So, what can you do to go about addressing the problem and determining if it is indeed relevant to you?
Engaging in pathology work is a great idea and below are the panels recommended for request courtesy of Dr Ann Corson. These panels are applicable to all countries.

Other crucial pointers to support your body’s innate healing ability include the following –
- Rectify your omega 3:6 ratio. Your cell membranes need quality omega 6 fatty acids and BodyBio Balance Oil is an excellent choice.
- Focus on your liver detoxification pathways with liver loving herbs and castor oil packs.
- Fix any gut dysbiosis via a GI Map or Meta XPlore functional test.
- Move your lymph daily with gentle massage, rebounding, body brushing.
- Quality hydration with filtered structured, mineral rich water.
- Clean, wholefood antioxidant rich diet.
- Deal with chronic/ stealth infections and environmental toxin exposures such as mold, glyphosate and heavy metals.
- Minimise your EMF/ EMR exposure as much as possible.
You can also employ some great supportive supplements alongside the above such as Kinase Enzymes which include Nattokinase and Lumbrokinase.
Nattokinase is the more well known of the two thanks largely to Dr Peter McCullough’s Spike Protein Detox Protocol.
Nattokinase is derived from fermented soybean that’s been inoculated with Bacillus Subtilis a spore based bacteria strain. It has a long history of safe use to support coagulation homeostasis where sticky blood is at play. A single dose enhancing fibrinolysis and anti-coagulation activity via several different pathways simultaneously.
Nattokinase serves as a potential therapeutic agent for preventing blood-brain barrier dysfunction in neurodegenerative disorders. Supplementation has been found to ameliorate BBB dysfunction, reduce brain inflammation, and improve cognitive ability in Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
Personally I think there are far better options than Nattokinase specifically for Spike Protein degradation and elimination. Dr Peter McCullough is basing his choice of Nattokinase solely on one preclinical study and it wasn’t even deemed very efficacious. However for addressing the brain inflammation and hypercoagulative damage caused by spike proteins, Nattokinase is an excellent choice.
The stat’s for Spike Protein degradation ability –
- Nattokinase 2.5-6%
- Green Tea EGCG 7.5%
- N-Acetylcysteine (NAC) 15-28%
- Augmented NAC 90-99%
The estimated effectiveness of the various enzymes for hypercoagulation are –
- Bromelain 50%
- Wobenzym 60%
- Serrapeptase 70%
- Nattokinase 85%
- Lumbrokinase 90%
Dr David Berg and Dr Dietrich Klinghardt also strongly recommend the incorporation of Garlic, Vitamin E, and Vitamin K2 for supporting regulation of the coagulation system. Our recommendation is CircuZyme by Premier Research Labs which features nattokinase with the before mentioned ingredients. Augmented NAC also has strong clot dissolution properties at 68% efficacy.

We hope this article serves someone out there and plays a role in overcoming your delayed healing and regaining your vitality in this post covid world.
