The Bioray Kids range of herbal detox supplements are among our top selling products for a good reason – they work and are supported and recommended by some of our favourite practitioners across the globe.
Finding safe and effective detox tools for children that are accessible is mighty hard, there are very few on the market that don’t employ the use of Zeolites which can be a controversial binding agent when it comes to releasing further aluminum content into the body.
Micronised Chlorella forms the backbone of each kids tonic to both support the removal of neurotoxins from the bowel via the liver and simultaneously nourishing the body with a complete natural food supplying a rich source of amino acids, essential fatty acids, B-12, vitamins and minerals. Chlorella is a gentle binder that acts like a magnet for environmental toxins, safely escorting them out of the body without burdening the liver or kidneys.
Chlorella is both a chelator – moving heavy metals out of the body and a mobilizer, moving mercury and other heavy metals from deeper stores to more readily removal areas. Chlorella is the only intelligent chelator, very effectively removing neurotoxins whilst simultaneously presenting the body with a whole and complete natural food.
Here is why Chlorella is a excellent detoxification tool safe for kiddos –
- Chlorella is a quick learner – it’s swiftly absorbed because its protein and beneficial fats have been pre-digested by the algae itself.
- Boosts your child’s immunity, partly due to its rich polysaccharide content.
- Safely detoxifies the body from environmental nasties like pesticides, heavy metals, and even radiation residues.
- Acts as a “restorative” in ancient Chinese healing, helping reduce stress and irritability.
- Guards against the absorption of harmful substances from food, particularly beneficial for kids exposed to GMOs.
- Restores bowel flora by reducing the heavy metal binding on the pathogenic bacteria and fungus, thereby reducing their competitive advantage with the beneficial bacteria.
- Supports children’s growth rate.
- Contains a treasure trove of nutrients like protein, vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and more.
- Does not deplete your child of essential minerals in the binding process as zeolite based products may do.
- Will not release further harmful metals into your child’s body.
Chlorella detoxifies the gut and supports GALT (Gut-associated lymphoid tissue). It elevates intracellular glutathione levels, supports Vitamin B12 levels. activates PPAR (, contains sporopollein which increases metallothioneine and it has specific peptides to remove mercury, aluminium, lead and other toxic metals whilst simultaneously alkalising the system.
Neurotoxicity is prevalent in far too many children these days for a variety of reasons – pharmaceutical interventions, environmental pollution and dietary ingestion being the three primary modes of toxicity. Removing neurotoxins from your bowel is critical for successful treatment of heavy metal, toxic chemical, chronic infection detoxification as well as endogenous toxins that are produced by the “bad” bugs in the bowel and exogenous toxins that we eat.
Environmental and genetic factors determine how a child adapts to the toxic insult of the world around them and which one illnesses may develop from those exposures. Regular detoxification support is essential in the modern day. The Bioray kids range excels at supporting the removal of chemical, heavy metal, endogenous and exogenous toxins burdening the body – impacting our children’s function and well-being.
Bioray encourage users to follow a recommended product path to ensure the drainage pathways are open and ready to eliminate when detox commences which avoids re-absorption of toxins and minimizes unpleasant herx effects. The gut is the major route for heavy metal detoxification, therefore the gut must be functioning well with hopefully multiple bowel movements per day. If not, re-absorption of the neurotoxins can occur and using Pooper first is suggested if bowel motions are not frequent or complete.
You can find the Bioray Comprehensive Detox Protocol put together by Stephanie Ray the CEO of Bioray here. Note that they have used the adult formulations in this document but every adult tonic has a children’s equivalent.
I don’t agree with all components of the detox protocol, the use of Diatomaceous Earth internally for kiddos is not something I recommend for example however, I do appreciate their inclusion of Wholefood Vitamin C and Minerals to reduce oxidative and adrenal stress whilst moving through the detox. Compliance may be tricky to achieve with this style of protocol.
For Parasite Support the recommended tonics and order are: Calm, Happy, Tummy. I suggest adding in Colostrum Powder during the Tummy phase to support a healthy gut wall and robust immune response to ward off parasites attaching. It goes without saying that unless dietary modifications are made during this stage, the effects of a parasite cleanse may not be long lasting. A diet low in carbohydrate/starch/sugar is best suited – think bone broths, slow cooked meats and veggies, minimal fruit, apple cider vinegar, coconut oil, garlic, oregano, pepita and black seed are excellent dietary additions.
For Heavy Metal and other Environmental Toxins the recommended tonics and are: Calm and Focus. I suggest using Fulvic Acid or Modified Citrus Pectin alongside the Focus phase to provide additional toxin binder support and replenish minerals that toxic metals love to displace.
For both detox protocols ensuring adequate high quality hydration is absolutely essential.
Whether your child needs gut support post AB’s, needs a little immune prophylactic to ward off school bugs or you suspect parasites might be messing with mood – there is a tonic to help the family.

Keep in mind that each tonic can be used as a standalone also eg, Calm or Immune to support restlessness or bolster the immune system. When tackling parasites or metals however it is recommended to follow the sequence.
We hope this information is helpful for all the parents. Happy Healthy Kids!
