Colostrum is collected from cows raised and fed on grass pastures year-round, enabling them to gain natural immunity from all seasons and their natural environment. Bio Colostrum is NOT collected off intensive feedlot farms. No antibiotics or hormones are used. Cows are tested regularly to ensure they are free from antibiotic and hormone residue. Absolutely no MRNA vaccines are or will be permitted with our cows. No hyperimmunisation techniques are used.

South Gippsland Dairy Bio Colostrum is hand harvested from a very small and select number of family farms. Harvesting this way, local farmers can meticulously collect the excess colostrum. The high levels of antibodies and growth factors in our products occur naturally and are balanced by nature. Beware the artificial inflation of IgG content by other brands.

All South Gippsland Dairy colostrum products can be traced back to the farm of origin. They do not blend or import or use any other products. The colostrum is ethically collected from the mother only after the newborn Calf has received all they need. It is then freeze-dried and packaged in local Australian-owned and operated factories. South Gippsland Dairy have a dedicated harvesting plant specifically set up for heat-sensitive colostrum processing so when you buy colostrum you gain a superior product.

Other brands use ‘low thermal processing’ however this is still heat treatment and undesirable when it comes to colostrum. Freeze drying is the only way to ensure the full spectrum of bio active compounds are preserved and intact.
