Grasses of Life Modified Citrus Pectin Detox Fibre is an all natural, Probiotic Rich Super Food Blend with with Modified Citrus Pectin (MCP) plus all natural vegan probiotic.
This is a blend of Modified Citrus Pectin with other estrogen clearing, cellular health boosting and gut detoxifying ingredients. Grasses of Life also do a plain, unblended Modified Citrus Pectin powder.
Modified Citrus Pectin is a digestible dietary fiber made from pH modified citrus pectin which is well known to assist in the healthy elimination of toxins such as heavy metals and restore digestive balance. Modified Citrus Pectin (and Pectin) are prebiotic gut foods encouraging the growth and population of helpful Lacto and Bifido bacteria colonies in the gut. This can be used in gut biome repair protocols to maintain a diverse, healthy community of bacteria.
As a toxin binder, modified citrus pectin is used in some hospitals to eliminate high levels of environmental toxins safely and gently. For example, in one study of children with lead toxicity, MCP reduced lead levels in the blood by 161% in just four weeks.
