Preparing your Castor Oil Pack: To prepare a castor oil pack, you’ll need a castor oil wrap pack,  castor oil, and an optional hot water bottle or heating pad. Use 1-2 tbsp of organic cold pressed castor oil over the area of your skin you plan to place the wrap (always do a patch test first to make sure you are not sensitive to castor oil). Place the castor oil wrap on the target area and tighten in place. Optionally, you can place a hot water bottle or heating pad over it for warmth. The heat helps in the absorption of castor oil through the skin and enhances its therapeutic effects. A castor oil pack should typically be left on for a minimum of 30 to 60 minutes, depending on your tolerance. It’s advisable to start with shorter duration’s and gradually increase as your body becomes accustomed to the treatment. You can work up to wearing it all night long if tolerated.
