Organic Sunfiber Partially Hydrolysed Guar Gum Powder PHGG by Therapure 250g

Partially hydrolysed guar gum (PHGG) is a unique soluble fibre naturally derived from the guar bean. PHGG does not swell in water or become thick like many other fibres. It is completely flavourless and odourless and can be added easily to all of your food and drink creations. Kids won’t even know it’s there.

PHGG is a prebiotic fibre that feeds the good bacteria in the colon, supporting short chain fatty acids (SCFAs) and beneficial bifidobacterium and lactobacillus species for gut health.

Adult Dose: Start with ¼ scoop in a large glass of water after dinner and slowly increase weekly until you reach 1–2 scoops a day. PHGG can be mixed with your favourite magnesium and/or vitamin C supplement.

Children’s Dose: Up to 6 g/day has been used in research studies.

PHGG is very well tolerated. When increasing fibre intake, some bloating, wind or mild digestive discomfort may occur. Introducing fibre slowly and drinking more water can help.
